As the old saying goes, I’ve known this little lady every since she was “knee high to a grasshopper!” That’s why it really makes my heart glad to see her graduate from college, with HONORS! 
What makes her even more extraordinary is that as long as I’ve known her, she’s always said that she wanted to help sick babies and children when she got older. So most of us, non-medical folks, translated this as being a Pediatrician. But Dr. Tip, as she is affectionately known, explained to me that she specifically wants to be a Neonatologist! And she’ll be entering Med School in the fall.
